How do I create my first video?

Before you get started, we will confirm your email address. We'll use it later to send you service notifications, and to to keep track of your credits and purchases.
What video formats can I create?
We've got you covered with two options:
  • Vertical format: Perfect for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms
  • Horizontal format: Ideal for wider screens and traditional video platforms
With our Premium plans, you can create high-quality videos in both formats. The Free plan offers medium-quality videos.
Is it free?
When you create your account, you start with free credits. With these credits, you can create your first videos. When you're ready for more, you can choose between a usage-based model (pay per video) or a subscription - whatever suits your needs. Both options unlock our Premium features for enhanced content creation.
How can I make my videos unique?
Express yourself with our range of customization options! Tweak screen format, intro/outro, and background music to match your vibe. We're constantly adding new features, so stay tuned. Got a specific idea? Let us know, and we might make it happen!
Can I use the videos anywhere?
Absolutely! Share with friends, post on social media, or use them on your website. Just keep in mind that you must comply with our Terms of Service and Attribution Requirements.
Can I remove the anim8map.com logo from videos?
If you publish videos generated with a Free plan, you must not erase or alter the automatically included anim8map logo. With our Premium plans, you can render videos without logo, and no anim8map attribution is required. For more details, please read our Attribution Requirements documentation.
Are there any limitations on the types of routes I can create?
We've designed anim8map to be versatile, but there are a few things to keep in mind:
  • For maritime journeys, we currently support sea routes only. Inland waterways aren't available just yet.
  • To ensure the best visual experience, we recommend keeping each leg of your journey at least 100km long. This is not mandatory, but it helps create more visually appealing animations.
Is there a limit to how many videos I can create?
To keep things fair for everyone, we do have some in place. These limits apply to all accounts and all plans. If you want to generate a higher volume of videos, please contact us with a description of your use case, and we will get back to you within two business days.
What if a video doesn't meet my expectations?
We want you to be thrilled with your videos! Check out our . For issues with individual videos, you can use the "Report issue" functionality from your dashboard.
How do I cancel a subscription?

We currently do not offer any subscription plans. The time-based Premium plans are paid once, and do not renew automatically. You can decide whether you would like to purchase the plan again once it expires.

For users with legacy subscriptions: You can cancel active subscriptions from the billing portal. Access the billing portal by first clicking on the profile menu in the top-right corner of the website, then selecting the "Billing" menu item. If you need assistance, please use our contact form.

How long do you keep my videos?

We store your generated videos on our servers for at least 30 days. After this period, data may be deleted automatically. Please make sure you download your videos as soon as they are available, and keep your own copy. We are unable to restore your video once it has been deleted from our servers.

If you want to manually delete a video before it expires, go to the the video dashboard, open the dropdown menu on the video you would like to delete, and select "Delete video".
